Fuck fleas!
Elvira is in so much agony. We’ve used hardcore flea bath shampoos, flea meds, carpet/home sprays, everything, but they just keep coming back. She’s tearing her hair out and is bald in several places. The problem is that we can’t reapply flea meds for a month after we did the first round, which I’m pretty sure weren’t strong enough (I’ve heard many places that fleas are becoming immune to certain medications), so we got Frontline Plus finally, the most expensive stuff, and we’re going to try them out when it’s been a month. I really hope it works, it’s so hard seeing her like this, with bald patches, hives, etc… Ugh. We just don’t want to end up hurting her…
We also got this home “fogging” kit that bombs the house with hardcore flea killing fog so I think we’re going to give her another flea bath tomorrow, do all the rest of the laundry (including her bedding, our bedding, everything), do the house, and rent a rug cleaning machine. She’s in agony. I just wish there was a way to tell her that we’re trying to help.
