Just ordered Directions Violet and Manic Panic Lie Locks dyes. Fuck you Tumblr, you’re really rubbing off on me.

Some of my favorite things:

—A night alone with Yeagie

—Good food

—Seeing friends after you haven’t seen them for a while

—New things

—Good hair days

—Dying hair

Bleach, round one.

So. I want to get this pink out of my hair. Pink has to be the most resilient dye on the face of the earth. This is Special Effects Virgin Rose over a VERY faded Atomic Pink that had grown out for about 7-8 months. Does anyone have any tips for bleaching/removing pink from hair? I would eventually like it to be white white white. Please and thank you!

trroriot said: hello :) is a question about hair. my hair is bright red cos i previously bleached and i dye it with a semi-permanent dye it suppossed to fade in2weeks bt ive been taking care of it so isn't fading too much so idk know which color my hair is gonna fade either pink or orange cos i used to have dark red hair with a permanet dye and it always faded to orange bt this time idk so can i dye my hair pink with a semi-perment dye over faded red? and if i can. can i go back to red? thanks xoxo

Hi!
You can definitely dye pink over faded red! Just make sure it’s light enough for the shade you want, and red can go over that as well. Whether your hair fades to orange or pink you should be able to get a nice pink over it. I find that a nice blend of colors is even better than one flat shade, which is why I love putting dyes over unevenly faded colors. Just try and stick to the same family of colors (no greens, for example), and your hair will turn out lovely :)
