Today we all went to a wonderful vegetarian/seafood restaurant. The woman who worked there was the sweetest lady!! The food here has been so fresh. Its really interesting how different food is from the stuff we eat at home. At home everything is full of.preservatives and dyes, but here the food is natural and fresh and even things that i eat at home taste different here. Like pineapple. A similar but totally different taste here. It can be a little difficult to get used to but im really liking it. Had a wonderful fresh fruit daiquiri with lunch.
I’m having a nice time but am missing the boyfriend (of course). 6 Days til i get to see him again.
I think it’s so interesting to imagine the lives of the people who used to own the things I find at vintage stores. I went to the most AMAZING vintage estate sale store today called Decatur Estate. I’m surprised that I’d never been there before considering it’s so close to my house. I got this super cute vintage romper/bathing suit for only $18! I’d been looking for one for so long but vintage reproductions are so expensive. It fits like a glove and it’s in really good condition. I can’t wait to furnish a house with things like I found in the store. Atlanta has some really surprisingly great estate sale stores, like the one I went to today and Kudzu. It’s so exciting finding places like these.
But yeah, as I was saying, it’s fun to imagine what the people who used to wear and use those things used to do and be into.
Would at least like to get back to single digit pants size. I don’t have the money for a new wardrobe!
